Cybersecurity Training for Veterans
About
In the fall of 2015, the Federal Virtual Training Environment (FedVTE) program partnered with Hire Our Heroes to verify and enable US veterans to access FedVTE. The results have been significant- we are pleased to announce that over 16,000 veterans now have access to over 600 hours of cybersecurity training and certification prep courses on FedVTE.
Hire our Heroes and the Department of Homeland Security have teamed up to provide free cybersecurity training and certification prep courses.
The FedVTE is an online, on-demand training center with courses ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Veterans interested in getting into the cybersecurity field can take introductory cybersecurity courses, while elite cybersecurity professionals can take their skills to the next level with advanced course curriculum. FedVTE even offers prep courses for some of the most popular certifications in the industry.
Veterans interested in participating are encouraged to visit the links on this page to the Hire Our Heroes and FedVTE sites for more information
