A Protocol for Implementing Priority of Service for Veterans and Eligible Spouses

This protocol was created by the Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration (ETA) for implementing Priority of Service (POS) to veterans and their eligible spouses.
This protocol provides technical assistance to the public workforce system at all levels, including American Job Centers, local Workforce Investment Boards (WIBs), State Workforce Agencies, and other targeted grant programs, to help them enact policies and procedures to ensure that POS is implemented fully and effectively for veterans and their eligible spouses. This protocol was released to the public workforce system in Training and Employment Notice (TEN) 15-10.
